I am thrilled to announce that I have placed first for the third year in a row at the U.S. Bank Art Show in the Professional Photography Division. This is the photo that garnered the award. Another shot of life in Haiti. God is good.

When I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2005 I bought a very nice camera with my graduation money. I have since dabbled in the world of photography and loved it! I see it as a way to catalog the world around me. God’s creation, especially people, fascinate me as subjects. I would like to share the following two photos. The first photo “Solitude” won first place in the photography division of the U.S. Bank Art Show this year.
The second photo “Closed Portal” won first place in the same art show in 2007.
Enjoy seeing these glimpses of life in Haiti.
God Bless!

I have been meaning to post this video from my friend, Sinclair. He was the resident videographer on our last trip to Haiti. So click through to see his take on what Haiti is like.
